Linda Sue Southard, 70, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away February 12, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born exactly 70 years prior to her passing on February 12, 1953, to Charles Betty (Hooker) Ellinger. Linda worked at Burger King as a Manager and she also drove a semi-truck. She enjoyed fishing, diamond painting, NASCAR, football, and her sweet tea. Most of all she enjoyed her family, and was very proud to be a great grandma (NaNa) to her “Sweet Pea”. Linda was preceded in death by her father and her husband Raymond Southard, also her daughter Kathy Jenkins and siblings Pune, Mark, Edie, and Sharon. She is survived by her mother; children Phyllis Jenkins, Alpha Tarrh (Bob Sr.), and Mary Jenkins; grandchildren Linda Farmer (Jesse), Shane Cutter, Devin Phillips, and Austin Melvin; great granddaughter DeLilah aka “Sweet Pea”; and siblings Penny, Ella, Becky, Bertie, and Robin; and many nieces and nephews, and extended family. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
