Janet Faye Middleton, 70, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday April 2, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family. Janet was born on November 13, 1952 in Terre Haute to Benjamin Jones and Stella Short Jones. Janet was retired from Columbia House. She was an avid Colts and Pacers fan and loved to chat with her friends on a chat group called Buzzn. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Betty Middleton, siblings; Charles, Martha, David as well as two infant siblings. She is also preceded by her husband and father of their children, James Middleton. She is survived by one son, Jim “Bub” Middleton (Shelley), two daughters; Janice Stanton (George) and Angela Price (Robert). She is survived by two brothers; Robert Jones and W. Tom Jones (Barbara), two sisters; Betty Russell (Jim) and Sharon Tarrh (Cliff), She is survived by two special friends, Robert Valenti and Naoma Gummere and her dog and friend, Molly. She is survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services are Thursday April 6, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN., 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
