Stanley Lewis Henderson, 76, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Westminster Village. He was born May 15, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to William James Henderson and Thelma Marie Flack Henderson.

Survivors include his wife, Kristin K. Deck Henderson; son, Chad Eric Henderson; daughter, Monica Terese Henderson; brothers, Dale William Henderson and Lawrence Walter Henderson; sister, Anne Marie Findley; seven grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Martha Louis Henderson.

Stanley was a professor at Indiana State University. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Toastmasters, the Boy Scouts, Indiana Driver Educations Association, American Driver and Safety Traffic Association, the American Red Cross, Terre Haute South Lions Club, and Terre Haute South Rotary Club.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Friday, April 28, 2023 in Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN with Reverend Ron Branson officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 14th and Chestnut Community Center.
