Thelbert Cork, 69, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday June 9, 2023 in his residence. Thelbert was born August 9, 1953 in Terre Haute, to Phinus Herbert Cork and Doris Shannon Cork. He was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed music, cars and was a member of Nap Town Motorcycle Club. He especially loved his family, grand babies and making people laugh. He was retired from ICON Trucking and had worked at Hoosier Hand Pak, Columbia House and Hoosier Fiberglass. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Bradley Cork, Richard Cork and Jake Cork. One sister is preceded, Beverly Cork. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Baker Cork whom he married February 14, 1972, one daughter, Latasha Cork, two sons; Anthony Cork and Jeffrey Cork all of Terre Haute. He is survived by one brother, Gregory Manuel, sisters; Patty Potter (Michael), Laurie Steiger (Walter), Tammy Manuel, Edith Cork, Kathy Cork and Donna Russell (Mike) all of Terre Haute. Eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1400 Oak Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807, visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
