BRAZIL – One of Brazil’s industries is relocating its corporate headquarters to Brazil.

On Wednesday, the Clay County Redevelopment Commission recommended tax abatement for a new building for Metals and Additives LLC, previously known as Indiana Oxide.

The new corporate headquarters will be built on the west side of State Road 59 just north of the city limits.

A spokesman said the company is ready to break ground but the tax abatement will first have to be approved by the Clay County Council and other requirements met.

The company now has 52 workers in Brazil and plans to add three more when the office opens.
