Ed Joseph deBlecourt, 62, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away June 19, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 7, 1960, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Jon deBlecourt and Josephine (Becking) deBlecourt. Eddie was a member of American Legion Post # 2 in Brazil, Indiana. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and being with friends and family. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John deBlecourt. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Laura (Chaney) deBlecourt; daughter Brittany deBlecourt (Jamie Weir); Brian deBlecourt (Lauren); grandchildren Parker, Stella, Paisyn, Willow, and Skylar; siblings Leo deBlecourt, Louie deBlecourt, and Joni deBlecourt-Whelen; also several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph University Parish, 113 S 5th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47807. Father Todd Riebe will conduct mass. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. A Celebration of life will be held at Twiggy’s following the burial at Calvary. Ed would have loved to see his family and friends. Please join us to celebrate his life.
