The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Sullivan County in southwestern Indiana...
  Southwestern Clay County in west central Indiana...
  Southern Vigo County in west central Indiana...

* Until 1030 AM EDT.

* At 730 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have
  fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Shelburn, Prairieton, Prairie Creek, Farmersburg, Clay City,
  Fairbanks and Pimento.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Wabash River, Turman Creek, Splunge Creek, Ashmore Creek, Morrison
  Creek, Owl Creek, Neely Creek, Oxendine Bayou, Crooked Creek, West
  Fork Turman Creek, Hauger Creek, Kettle Creek, Sugar Creek, Eel
  River, Prairie Creek, Sulphur Creek, Honey Creek, Busseron Creek,
  Watkins Creek, Big Creek, Birch Creek and Hayworth Slough.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
