Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Indianapolis IN 326 AM EDT Sat Jul 1 2023 This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. Scattered to numerous strong thunderstorms are possible through this morning. Gusty winds...small hail and heavy rainfall are expected. The primary risk for severe weather will come late this afternoon and continuing through this evening. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats with a few tornadoes possible as well. Storms should weaken below severe levels after midnight tonight. Localized flooding may become a bigger issue by tonight with any storms that repeatedly track over the same areas. Heat indices this afternoon will peak near 100 degrees over the lower Wabash valley. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Thunderstorms will be possible at times on Sunday with a threat once again for damaging winds. Storms will be more isolated Monday and Tuesday...primarily focused during the afternoon and evening. Additional chances for more widespread storms will return by Wednesday and Thursday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed later today into this evening.
