Cheryl L. Savant, 77 of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Union Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on December 7, 1945 to Louis M. Storms and Mary Carolyn Jeter Storms.

Cheryl was a lover of animals and often cared for abandoned animals that she encountered. Volunteering in her community was an important part of her life, and her work with C.A.S.A. and the Helping Hands was near and dear to her heart, and she especially enjoyed shopping with her daughter.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ron Savant, and her daughter, Cassandra “Cassie” Eubanks (Jake). She is also survived by a brother, David Storms, sisters-in-law Oralee Foster Pierce, Letitia Besherse, and Carolyn Bridgewater, brother-in-law Darrell Savant, and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Fred Storms.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 6:00 PM. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the funeral home. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow services.
