Harold James Day, 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away July 24, 2023.  He was born in Springfield, Illinois to Joseph Day and Linda B (Ingalsbe) Day on January 10, 1958.  Harold never knew a stranger.  He was known for being a jokester and for being very sociable.  He was the sense of humor in his family.  Harold is survived by his brother Roy Day (Marsha); step mom Lynne Day; nieces Michelle Newsom(Tom), Leanne Collins (Fred), and Erica Ownby (Ryan); and other extended family.  Harold’s wish was to be cremated and buried next to his mother at Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Private family services will be scheduled.  The family has entrusted Greiner Funeral Home with care and arrangements.
