Elmer L. Shaw, 83, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away July 24, 2023.  He was born on January 1, 1940, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Elmer A. Shaw and Gladys L. Shaw.  Elmer worked in management for A and P, Quaker Maid, and Rueben H. Donnelly.  Elmer loved his family.  He enjoyed grooming his yard, his rose bed, and feeding his hummingbirds.  Elmer is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon Head Shaw; children Bryan Shaw (Denise), Steven Shaw (Cyndi), Andrea Allen (Brian), and Eric Shaw (LaRita); grandchildren Bethany, Stephanie, Aliya, Damon, Justus, and Jalen; great grandchildren Lilly, Garrett, and Olive; siblings William Stewart (Pat) and Patty Schoffstall.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marianne Stewart.  Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 31, 2023, at 2:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. and also on Monday from 1:00p.m. until service time.
