Cayuga Man Arrested for Sexual Misconduct With a Minor

CAYUGA – Indiana State Police Putnamville Post initiated a criminal investigation on June 29, 2023, after receiving information from the Vermillion County Department of Child Service’s concerning allegations of sexual misconduct with a female, under the age of 16.

The investigation revealed that Lee Pearman, age 38, of Cayuga, Indiana, had allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct with a female minor under the age of 16.  The allegations took place in Vermillion County.

After reviewing the investigation, the Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant on August 4, 2023, for Pearman.  Lafayette Trooper Brad Howell arrested Pearman on the active warrant on August 10, 2023.  Pearman is currently being held on a $15,000.00 bond with 10% allowed.
