Robert “Red” “Rob” Michael Harkness, 49, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Sunday August 20, 2023.
Rob was born April 7, 1974 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Robert D. Harkness and Eva M (LeClercq)
Harkness. He graduated from Terre Haute North in 1992 and worked at Specialty Rim. Rob was a “jack of
all trades” and a best friend to all. He was known for being big hearted.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of two and half years, Angel
Harkness; sons Curtis Bass II and Brandon Bass; daughters Sarah Burrell and Lindse Burrell; seven
grandchildren, Daylen, Ray-Leann, Joey, Holdin, Gaige, Kyleigh and Xaden; brother William D. Harkness
(Jennifer); sister Amy Harkness Cleeton and her son Tyler; Unk Floyd LeClercq; several nieces and
nephews and many special pets.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 25, 2023 in Greiner Funeral Home, at 4:00pm.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will take place at
