Russell Carl Scott, 63, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away August 24, 2023. He was born January 6, 1960, in Bloomington, Illinois to Carl and Dorothy Jean (Armstadt) Scott. He attended Trinity Lutheran School and Universal High School in Bloomington, Illinois. He was employed at Wal-Mart. Russell enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, family gatherings, and playing horseshoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, P.A. Gordon. He is survived by his significant other, Nancy Dixon; children, Tommy Dixon (Chrissy); Cassey Dixon; Brandy Dixon (Mark); Kathy Romig (Lonny); Jay Dixon (Heather); Sonceearay Scott (Matt); David Dixon (Cindy) and Emily Dixon; 33 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother Randy Scott of Illinois; sisters Toni Braun (Gary) of Augusta, Georgia and Tami Scott of Naperville, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.
