Isaiea Sam Copra, 66, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday evening, August 24, 2023. He was Senior Vice President with Hilliard-Lyons, Inc. Sam was born November 3, 1956 in Terre Haute to Isaiea Si Copra and Doris Marilyn Roderick Copra.

Survivors include his wife, Kristina Lee Gilpin Copra; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Andrea Copra of Clinton, IN; two grandchildren, Ryker and Rynn Copra; his sister, Lani Farrier; and two cousins, Annie Montgomery and Jay Copra. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sam was a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and attended Indiana State University. He was a member of Union Christian Church, NRA, Lost Creek Conservation Club and National Wild Turkey Federation. He was an avid Trump fan, enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals and watching the Indianapolis 500. Sam loved watching his grandchildren’s activities, along with hunting, fishing and golfing.

A visitation is scheduled from 3:00-5:00 PM, Friday, September 8, 2023 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Memorial services will follow at 5:00 PM with Mark Grayless officiating.
