Joe Wayne Tiefel, 72, passed away September 18, 2023. Joe was born to the late William Donald and Laurena I. (Zurcher) Tiefel on April 22, 1951.

Joe graduated from Clay City High School in 1969. Joe attended Purdue University. After college he worked at Pillsbury where he continued to work for 19 years. While he worked at Pillsbury, he farmed in the evening which eventually became his full-time job. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his dogs.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents.

Joe is survived by his wife, Joyce Tiefel, two children, Ben and Sam Tiefel, two grandchildren, Scarlett and Cash Tiefel, as well as one sister.

In accordance with Joe’s wishes, no services will be held.
