
Terri Lee Clodfelter, a spirited, selfless, and loving individual, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2023, in Knightsville, Indiana. Terri was a beacon of positivity and love, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Terri spent her early years working at the family business, Harrison’s Bait Shop. Her work ethic and dedication were evident even in her youth. When her children were young, Terri chose to stay at home, providing them with a nurturing and loving environment. Her dedication to her family was a testament to her selfless nature. Once her children were grown, Terri joined the Walmart family, where she served as a department manager for over 30 years. Her commitment to her work and her ability to connect with people made her a valued member of the Walmart team.
Outside of her professional life, Terri was a woman of many interests. She had a passion for antiquing, always on the hunt for unique and meaningful pieces. Her keen eye for detail and appreciation for history were evident in her diverse and impressive collection. Terri was also a proud owner of a Jeep and an active member of the Jeep community. Her adventurous spirit shone through in her love for her vehicle and the camaraderie she found with fellow Jeep enthusiasts.
Terri’s love for Halloween was legendary in her community. Every year, she transformed her home into a haunted house, providing joy and excitement for the neighborhood children. Her creativity and knack for planning made each Halloween a memorable event. This love for planning extended to parties, where Terri’s attention to detail and knack for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere made every gathering a special occasion.
Terri was a giver in every sense of the word. Whether it was her time, her love, or her resources, she was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her selflessness extended to her beloved pets, Max and Lucy. Her love for her two dogs was palpable, and they were a constant source of joy and companionship for her.
In every aspect of her life, Terri Lee Clodfelter embodied a loving, selfless, and spirited character. Her generous nature and zest for life left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. As we remember Terri, we celebrate the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the joy she brought into this world. Her legacy of love and selflessness will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Harrison, sisters, Alberta Stevens, Brenda Godsey, and Cathy Cooksey, brothers, Jack Harrison and Larry Harrison, as well as one granddaughter, Sarah Roe.
Terri is survived by three children, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren with a tenth on the way, and three siblings. Terri is also survived by her life partner, John Carpenter.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 2nd from 11-1 at Lawson – Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help offset funeral costs.
