In loving memory of Sullivan County’s Ms. Dairy Queen

Cleta Lorraine Templeton (Crick) has gone to be with the Lord on November
8 th , 2023. She will be embraced in the loving arms of her Father, Mother,
and older brother. Cleta lived a full and happy life. She married her high
school sweetheart, Charles Merrill Templeton on December 14 th 1958. They
would have been celebrating their 65 th wedding anniversary this winter.
While living a considerable part of their life here in Sullivan Indiana. Cleta
often looked back on some of her many travels with fond memories and
wonderful stories to share with her children, grandchildren, and great
grandchildren.
Cleta was amazingly talented. She was able to pull beautiful works of art
from her imagination with both a pen and paintbrush. Her ability to take a
boring room and turn it into a home was truly great. She loved to make
everyone feel like they belonged.
Cleta is leaving behind her younger sister Diane Loudermilk (Joe Loudermilk)
and a sister-in-law Rita Crick, her children Mark Templeton and Michelle
Templeton (Paul McCoy), her six grandchildren Dustin Templeton, Chazlynn
Wolfe (John Wolfe), Markus McCoy, Hunter McCoy, Payton Templeton, and
Clarence Templeton, and her 5 great grandchildren Landon, Elyette,
Remington, Drew, and Davin.
Cleta was an amazing Lady and will be truly missed by all her family and
friends. A celebration of life will be at a later time.
