Kevin Allan Neice, 48, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday, January 28, 2024 in Terre Haute, IN. He was born March 27, 1975, the oldest son to Bob and Marcia.
Kevin has been reunited with his little brother, Jason Neice, who passed November 4, 2015.
Kevin (aka Sonny Boy, Kevy, and when younger sometimes Kevina, when his sister and brother would tease him) was born and raised in Terre Haute. He worked at Presstime Graphics for 24 years and recently with City Press. He had always been very artistic and liked to draw when he was younger. Kevin had a big heart and was known to be quiet, laid back, and caring.
Kevin enjoyed gaming on and offline during his down time. He also loved to research and purchase fun, new tools and gadgets to help with his little projects around the house. He developed these traits early teaching his siblings how to unwrap and then rewrap Christmas presents before they should when they were little. Kevin enjoyed calmly discussing politics and had a great love of fishing, especially with daughter, Addison.
Kevin and his partner, Leslie, were friends in high school and dated for 8 months during 1991-1992. Many were overjoyed when Leslie came back into Kevin’s life. Together, they supported, loved and shared a wonderful life for nearly 9 years. Kevin was known to text Leslie daily asking “What’s for dinner? I’m hungry!”
Kevin is loved and survived by Leslie LaRoche (daughter Addison, stepson Ethan), parents Robert and Marcia Neice, sister Caryn Montgomery (Josh, Taylor, Kyle) nieces Addyson and Paige Neice (Dawn, Mackenzie, Ashton, Jade, Thomas), as well as many extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to gather for Kevin’s memorial services on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Seelyville Town Hall, located at 2299 N. Main Street, Terre Haute 47803. Pastor Rich Carmichael will be officiating at 1:00 pm and visitation will directly follow. Food will be provided during visitation. There are no burial services.
