Mason Michael Carter, 20, of Terre Haute, passed away March 26, 2024.  He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Jeremy and Nicole (Nicoson) Carter on June 18, 2003.  Mason graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He worked at Technicote as a Maintenance Technician.  Mason enjoyed working on cars, and fixing things.  He like the challenge of “making them custom.”  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting or fishing, and being with his friends.  Mason also enjoyed riding motorcycles.  Most of all Mason was looking forward to being a new Daddy.  He is survived by his parents Jeremy and Nikki Carter; sister Reese Carter; fiancé’ Racheal Sawyer; newborn daughter Madelynn Grace; stepson Jerry; grandparents Josh and Susan Nicoson, Robert and Debbie Carter, and Juanita Nicoson; aunts and uncles TJ (Tina) Nicoson, Bryon (Lorie) Nicoson, Melissa (Luke) McKinney, Shawn (Kim) Carter; and several cousins, extended family, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his brother Jacob Carter.  Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  The visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.  If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter Madelynn.
