Connie Kay Rafter, 82, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away with her loving family by her side on April 29, 2024, in The Gibson Family Hospice Center.  She was born on August 10, 1941, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Harold Archer and Blanche (Gorby) Archer.  Connie graduated from Garfield High School in 1959.  She retired from Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Housekeeping.  Before retiring, she was the Crew House Supervisor and as a Title One Math Tutor at Deming Elementary School.  She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Rafter; her parents; and siblings James Archer and Delores “June” Clifton Archer.  Connie is survived by her children Michelle L. Swick (Bob) and David Rafter (LeeAnn); grandchildren Macey Norris, Dalton Rafter, Justin Swick, and Darren Swick (Kaytlyn); and 5 great grandchildren.  In honoring Connie’s wishes, cremation has been chosen, no service is scheduled at this time.
