Diann Marie (Knezevich) Sekerak

Diann Marie Knezevich Sekerak. 66, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully at home on May 17th, 2024. She was born on October 8th, 1957 in Terre Haute. Indiana.

She was the daughter of George Knezevich Jr. and Margaret (Peg) Eickmeier Knezevich. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a devoted and loving mother to Jennifer Sekerak Darling and  grandsons Caleb and Christian Darling. Son-in-law, Christopher Darling.

She was a sister to
George P. Knezevich and wife Ellen, Delight A. Allen, Garri M. Knezevich, Denise R. Knezevich, Dollie M. Underwood and husband Dave, and Gene F. Knezevich.

Diann is also survived by several nieces and nephews Matt Knezevich, Luke Knezevich, Richard Allen, Laurelei Allen, Sam Underwood, Clayton Underwood, Andrea Donham, Blake Knezevich, Brandon Knezevich and Bailey Knezevich. She also has many great-nieces and nephews.
She had many cousins on the Knezevich and Eickmeier side of the family.

Diann grew up in 12 Points, where she resided most of her life.
She graduated grade school from Sacred Heart in 1971.
She graduated from Schulte High School in 1975.
She made many life-long friends from Sacred Heart and Schulte High School. While in school she was active in Sports, CYO and 4-H.

Diann enjoyed family, friends, music, animals, outdoors, sports, concerts, flowers, gardening and her family’s Friends Forever group.

She was very proud of her daughter, Jennifer and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, Caleb & Christian and watching them in sports and excel in life.

She worked for many years, starting at age 6 and into her adult years on The Knezevich Family Farms growing Flowers, Fruits and Vegetables  She worked in the Wholesale Floral industry for many years. Diann was a gifted Floral designer and designed wedding flowers.. She also worked at various retail stores over the years as a supervisor. She also received continuing education certification as a health insurance coder.

Visitation will be Tuesday. May 21st, 2024. at Greiner Funeral Home in 12 Points  Visitation is 11am to 1pm. Services at 1pm.

There will be a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery following funeral services.
