Kathryn Coffin, 88 of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away June 15, 2024. She was born in Fairbanks, Sullivan
County, Indiana to Hugh and Iva Findley on March 17, 1936. A Graduate of Garfield High Class of 1954.
Married Kenneth Coffin July 15, 1956 in Terre Haute. She was preceded by parents Hugh and Iva Findley,
Sisters Oleta (Herb) Young, Margie (Richard) Myers. Survived by her husband Kenneth Coffin and two

Children – Son Mark Coffin and Daughter Connie (Mike) Menefee. Had 5 grandchildren, 7 Great-
grandchildren and 3 Great -Great- grandchildren.

She 1st worked at GTE Telephone Company for 7 years as an operator manager. Glenn Jr. High as a
Cafeteria cashier and hall monitor for a few years. Ermish Cleaners bookkeeper for 20 years. JCPenney’s
at the jewelry counter.
She was a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority with a perfect attendance. For 50 years. The sorority did
a lot of Community service here in the valley. She volunteered serving breakfast for the children in the
summertime at the Youth Center of Terre Haute. She was a Cub Scout, Girl Scout and Brownie leader.
She and Ken would help and coach basketball at the Boys and Girls Club.
Our deepest appreciation to all the caregivers that cared for Kathryn over the past 8 years. Especially to her
Home of Signature Health Care of Terre Haute ward 900 who cared for her the past 6 1⁄2 years.

Her Service will be held at Greiner Funeral Home
June 19, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 p.m.
Procession following to Roselawn for burial service at 2:00 p.m. with a drive by Signature.
