Patsy A. McCoy, 89, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on June 12, 2024.  She was born August 29, 1934, in Frankfort, Indiana to Clarence G. Whiteman and Mary (Reagan) Whiteman.  Patsy was a member of Vision Baptist Church and was also a long time member of Pittsboro Baptist Church  She enjoyed her church life and was a woman of faith.  Patsy loved children and enjoyed babysitting and nurturing them.  She was an avid exerciser who enjoyed being active and fit.  She was also an avid reader and a talented baker.  Patsy was known to be the person that could lift people up.  She is survived by her son Michael McCoy; grandchildren Kailyn and Drake McCoy; brother Donnie Whiteman; and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas McCoy in 2011; her parents; and her brother Jerry Whiteman.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 6:00p.m. in Vision Baptist Church, 6370 S Canal Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802.  Visitation will be at the church, from 3:00p.m. until service time.  The burial will be on Thursday, in Plainview Cemetery in Colfax, Indiana at 1:00p.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Vision Baptist Church.
