
Kerry Owen Ashe, 68, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on May 10, 2022, following a brief illness.
Kerry was born on January 17, 1954, in Clinton, Indiana the son of Robert Lee and Janice (Owen) Ashe. After attending high school in York, South Carolina he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1976 after 6 years of service. As a civilian, Kerry worked for Pfizer as a Instrument Technician before getting injured.
Kerry enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and working horses. He was a member of the American Legion Post 2 and considered Grace Chapel his home church. Kerry especially enjoyed attending Monday night home group at the Chamberlain’s.
Kerry was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee Ashe and Janice Ashe.
Kerry is survived by his wife Susan (Haddon) Ashe; two daughters: Crystal Daves and husband Chris of Farmersburg and Kara Ashe of Farmersburg; grandchildren: Alyssa Danko and husband Ace, Dalton Will (Cassidy), Bryan Robison, Brayden Robison, Ava Chambers, and Branden Daves; great-grandchildren: Chace, Blaklee, Kynlee, and Benjamin; brothers: Cregg Ashe, John Ashe, and Mickey Ashe; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Graveside services will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Russell officiating.
