Jeffrey Wayne Alsip, 62, passed away May 26, 2022 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Jeff was born to Donald Lee and Mary Jane (Hill) Alsip on December 8, 1959 in Brazil, Indiana.
Jeff worked for Great Dane for over 38 years and had just recently retired in 2021. Jeff loved to race go-karts and go fishing. He had a love for gardening, especially when it came to his tomatoes. Jeff was a very avid Indianapolis Colts fan, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Jeff loved to spend time with his four legged best friend, Luke, his golden retriever.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Alsip.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Alsip, mother, Mary Jane Alsip, four sisters, Vickie Downing (Mike), Donna Mesaeh (Mark), Rhonda Justice (Keith), Cheryl Smith (Dave), one brother in law, James R. Montgomery, one sister in law, Cindy Smith (Berlin), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1st from 11-1 at French Funeral Home, 421 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Dr. Quentin Madden will begin at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
