Sandra (Sandy) Kay Chapman, 61, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away July 5, 2022, in her residence. She was born May 3, 1961, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Harry Donald Chapman and Lucille Mae (Denny) Chapman. Sandy was a loving woman. She loved her animals. She was great at listening when a family member or a friend needed a shoulder to lean on, she was there. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She loved her grandchildren and was so proud of each and every one of them. She enjoyed watching movies and being outdoors, but most of all being in the company of her family and friends laughing and smiling. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She’ll be missed by so many. She had God in her heart and Jesus Christ is her savior. She strived to have a close relationships with her children, grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. She was very proud of all 7 of her grandchildren. Sandy is survived by her children Shane Chapman, Christopher Chapman and Terry Haughee; and grandchildren Summer Chapman, Catelin Chapman, KayRae Chapman, Bryleigh Chapman, Avery Chapman, Payton Marks, and Nate McCormick; and sister Teresa Chapman. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald Chapman, James Chapman and sister Deborah “Arthur” Chapman. Now that Sandy has gained her angel wings in heaven, she will be laid to rest with her family at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Graveside burial services and celebration of life is with Greiner Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her brothers at her brother’s gravesite at a later date. (TBA)
