Carol L. Vanatti, 63, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday October 4, 2022 in her residence. Carol was born in Terre Haute on June 27, 1959 to Clarnce E. Vanatti and Sylvia McKeen Vanatti. Carol was a 1977 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo and held a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Indiana State University in Library Science. She was a retired Librarian working for the Vigo County Public Library and retiring from Indiana State University Library. Carol was an avid reader, reading and collecting thousands of books over her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tim Norton . She is survived by two brothers, Brian Vanatti (Carla) of Marshall, IL., and David Vanatti of London, England. She is survived by several Nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial Services are Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until service time. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
