Genevieve Cozette Stockdale, 80 of Terre Haute IN passed away September 27, 2022, at Riverwalk Assisted Living, Noblesville, IN. She was born October 5, 1941, in Crawford County, IL to Hubert Stantz and Oma L (Davis) Stantz Taylor.

Cozette is survived by her children, Theresa K Stockdale, Mary Cathleen “Cathy” (Patrick) Berghoff, and John Robert (Valarie) Stockdale. Six grandchildren, Sara Marie Brown, Eric Berghoff, Emily (Jack) Scott, Scott Berghoff, Justin (Hannah) Stockdale, Kristin (Luke) Foreman. Two great grandchildren, Brandon, and Raylen Brown. She is proceeded in death by her parents, two sisters and her husband, John Ruger Stockdale.

Cozette was employed as Comptroller at AP&S Clinic. Also, Gibson Coal Company.
She attended St. Patrick Church where she was involved with Youth Group and St. Benedict Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 12, 2022 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 S. 9th Street, Terre Haute, IN with Father Bob Showers, OFM Conv officiating. Visitation will be prior to mass from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a rosary just prior to mass at the church. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery following mass.
