Duard Grove, 85, of Sullivan, passed away on Thursday, February 9th, 2023. He was born on February 10th, 1937, in Hickory Point, Tennessee, to James and Mattie Grove.

Duard was part of the first graduating class from Flowing Wells High School, Tucson, Arizona.

Duard started his career as a police officer for the city of Tucson, Arizona, before starting his lifetime career in the Carpenters Union as a Construction Superintendent. After retiring, he spent most of his days working in his wood shop.

He will always be remembered for his love of poker and country music.

Survivors include one son, Glen Grove; two daughters, Donna (Randy) Schofield and Tina (Jon) Burnett; nine grandchildren, Brandi (Tyler) Smith, Dustin (Shannon) Grove, Megan Burnett, Jennifer (Paul) Simmons, Lacey Grove, Randy (Brittany) Schofield, Cody (Shayne) Burnett, Kandi (Jessie) Kaufman and Lisa (Larry) Tindall; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving is sister, Peggy (Hank) Graham; one brother, David Grove; special friend and sister-in-law, Delois Brown; several other sister and brother-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Duard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis Grove whom he married on August 24, 1957; two brothers, James Grove and Holland Grove; one sister, Donna Angelyn Grove; one great-great grandchild, Auburn Webb.
