Geraldine June Blake, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Majestic Care of Terre Haute. She was born on March 24, 1931 in Denver, Colorado to Henry and Anna (Graf) Green.

Geraldine is survived by her children: Marsha Hellquist of Ephraim, UT; Tim Blake and wife, Mary, of Woodridge, IL; Terri Lumaye and husband, Keith, of Austin, TX; Connie Scamihorn and husband, Richard, of Terre Haute; Steven Blake and wife Katrina of Loweville, NY; and Kathie Collison and husband, Adam, of N. Aurora, IL; grandchildren: Troy Hightower of Ft. Wright, KY; Cory Hightower (Jennifer Kenshalo) of Terre Haute; Jeff Lumaye of Austin, TX; Jamie Hernandez (Stephen Hernandez) of Houston, TX; Britta Hellquist (Jay Samuelson) of Portland, OR; and Alanna Hellquist (Alex Card) of Ephrain, UT; and great-grandchildren: Taylor Hightower (Andrew Larsen), Layla Hightower, Jamie Kenshalo, all of Terre Haute, and Sully Hellquist of Ephraim, UT.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 54 years, Edwin Blake.

Geraldine worked as a sales associate at JcPenney’s, retiring after nearly 20 years of dedicated service. She was a loving daughter, devoted wife, wonderful mother, and doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Geraldine liked to take her time and enjoy life without being rushed.
