Gary Lee DeLong, 70, of Terre Haute, Indiana, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2023.  He was born July 19, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to George DeLong and Mildred (Baysinger) DeLong.  Gary worked at Roots for many years and also FedEx.  He was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church. Gary was a Co-Founder of Red Bird Riding Area.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Jean (Johnson) DeLong; daughter AriAnn E. Cochran (Justin); son Phillip G. DeLong (Rachelle); grandchildren Collin, Leah, Lucas, Caroline, Mary Beth, Brooks, Dustin, Zailee, and Zayden; and brother Rick J. DeLong (Vicki).  Gary was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Mallorie Cochran.  Graveside services will be held privately at Poplar Cemetery in Brazil, Indiana.
