TERRE HAUTE-A vehicle stopped on train tracks at 10th and Locust caused police to call CSX and ask them to stop the train but the vehicle was hit.

The driver, Enock Momanyi, 26, of Terre Haute, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. Friday morning, according to the Terre Haute Police Department.

During the course of the investigation, at around 3:39 a.m., a CSX train came through the intersection and struck  Momanyi’s vehicle.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident, according to a Terre Haute Police Department Facebook post.
