Bradley “Bubba” E. Boatman, 63, of Terre Haute died June 23,2023 at Gibson Family Center for Hospice.
He was a graduate of the close-knit Class of 1978 from Rosedale High School. He was a retired
Teamster, but also enjoyed other jobs such as farming, construction, and at the former BJ’s. He was
strong and loyal, a fierce protector of those he loved, and a great problem-solver. He could be counted
on to lend an ear, a laugh, advice, or support to those who needed it day or night. He loved being out in
nature, hunting, gardening, relaxing with friends/family, traveling to the Philippines to visit his in-laws,
and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his wife Linbert, daughter, Kristina (Joe) Ervin, granddaughter, Julianna Ervin, aunt,
Jean Donna Brock, sisters Kim (Pat) Parker, Penny (Jack) Clore, and Dianna Devlin, nephews Michael
Clore, Jason Parker, Brian Parker, Sean Devlin, and multiple great nieces and nephews. He is also
survived by in-laws Zilla dela Cruz (John Ervin), Arhnel (Mildy) dela Cruz, Allan (Leody Mae) dela Cruz,
Ariel (Raisa) dela Cruz, Adelyn and Airine dela Cruz, and a family of friends he has created over a
lifetime. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Janice Boatman, father-in-law, Alberto dela
Cruz, and nephew Jack Clore II.
Visitation is Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 5-7pm with services directly following at Greiner Funeral
Home in Terre Haute.
