Beth Cooksey, 67, of Carbon, Indiana, passed away on August 3, 2023 following an extended illness.

Beth was born on August 7, 1955, in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Martha (Clossin) Fields. She graduated from VanBuren High School with the class of 1973. Beth worked as a LPN for Holly Hill for 31 years. She married Cletus Cooksey on February 5, 1977. She enjoyed attending Rock Run Church, making peanut butter fudge, her dogs, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Martha Fields; a grandson Peter E. Cooksey; and a sister Jo Fields.

Survivors include her children: Robert Joe Cooksey, C. Bryan Cooksey (Lisa), and Sandra Lynn Cooksey; grandchildren: Devon Cooksey (Taylor), Alexus Cooksey, Kayler Prano, B. Michael Cooksey, Casey Marie Cooksey, Adam David Butler, Lenabelle Marie Cooksey, and Chase A. Husk; a brother Clifton Fields; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Services are pending. Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home.
