Harry was a graduate of Terre Haute North High School class of 1983. After high school he married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Kay Snow.

In his spare time cars were always on his mind. He enjoyed dirt track racing and raced for over 30 years. After retiring from dirt track racing, he enjoyed restoring old cars and trucks. He also loved working outside tending to his cows, but his greatest enjoyment in life was his four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Shepherd, Jr, his father-in-law, Larry Snow, and brother-in-law, Jim Walker.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Sandy; two daughters, Stacey Ford husband Josh, Sara Vanatti husband Jonathan; four grandchildren, Madison Ford, Kylie Vanatti, Garrison Ford, Kambree Vanatti; his mother, Helen Shepherd; a sister, Peggy Carmichael husband Kenny; his mother-in-law, Rose Marie Snow; sister-in-law, Becky Walker, brother-in-law, Kevin Snow wife Linda, sister-in-law, Jena Smith husband Greg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Guinn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
