
Pearl Loraine Winsted, 84, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday February 23, 2024 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Pearl was born August 9, 1939 in Loveland, CO. to Henry Lempke and Pauline Hauple Lempke. She retired from K-Mart of Wabash Avenue after 29 years of service. She was a devout member of the Pentecostal Church. She was formerly a member of Christ Temple, Good Tidings and was presently a member of The Sanctuary. She and he her husband, David Winsted, whom she married September of 1958 enjoyed singing in area churches and at home. She loved her flower gardens, reading Amish Books, working Word Search Puzzles and especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Leona, Edna, Violet, David, Jim and Bobby as well as her grandson, Jarred Torrence. She is survived by her husband David of Terre Haute, two daughters; Lori Torrence (Ron) of Terre Haute and Diana Winstead Smith (Marty) also of Terre Haute. She is survived by a sister, Judy Meaben of Phoenix, AZ. Grandchildren survive; Cherith (Tim) and Madison and great grandchildren; Baily, Caden and Sophie as well as many nieces and nephews. Services are Wednesday March 29, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at The Sanctuary, 2311 Locust St. Terre Haute, IN 47807. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Private Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pastor Merrill Weir will be conducting services.
