Chad Everett Goodman, a loving husband, father, son, and brother, went home to be with the Lord at Union Hospital, with his family and friends by his side on Monday June 17, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Chad was born December 14, 1976 to Terry Goodman in Terre Haute, Indiana. He attended Terre Haute South Vigo High School and was an avid guitarist, he loved playing video games, skateboarding, cooking the best hamburgers and soups, he was a great mechanic, he loved spending time with his family, he loved the tropical weather, the Joker, as he had a lengthy collection of Joker figurines and paintings, he loved to take his dog for walks in the middle of the night and he was a huge fan of grunge music.

Chad is deeply missed by many. He leaves behind his mother, Terry Goodman-Spaw (Joseph). The love of his life, Ronna Goodman, His two children, Dylan and Preston Goodman. His Brother Steven Hicks (Ramicia), sister, Brittany Goodman, nieces, Sophia Thompson, Gracelyn Hicks, Gabrielle Hicks, and Kaislea Goodman, as well as his two nephews, Isaiah Vickers, and Noah Hicks. Chad’s best friends Carlos Thompson, and Richard Garrett, as well as many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held in his memory with family and friends at Remnant Church on Saturday June 22, 2024. Though he is no longer with us, Chad’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
