
Donald Lee Pesavento, 83, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Harrison Crossings Health Campus, with his daughter by his side. He was born on June 20, 1936, in Clinton to Anthony and Helen (Murdock) Pesavento. He married Christine Crumrin on April 4, 1964.
Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine Pesavento of Terre Haute; sons, Donald Scott Pesavento of Page, AZ and Kip Matthew Pesavento and wife Lori of Clinton; daughter, Toni Lee LaDow and husband Todd of Bloomington; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth LaDow and fiancé Luke Fulford; grandson, Brach Anthony LaDow; sister, Kay Ann Wagner and husband Jim; and a niece, Megan Block and husband Ryan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donald loved his family and never met a stranger. All that knew him loved his wit and sense of humor. Donald enjoyed playing golf, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. He loved watching Jeopardy and listening to Frank Sinatra. Donald earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana State University. He taught for the Vigo County School Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1997.
