TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – One person was killed Sunday night after running into traffic on 3rd Street at 3rd Avenue.
It happened around 7:15p.m.
Police say that witnesses told them that they saw a person run across 3rd Street in front of traffic and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
The pedestrian was taken to Union Hospital where they later died.
Police are continuing their investigation.
