PARKE COUNTY, Ind – First responders were called out around 2:00 a.m. this morning to a single vehicle crash to the area of US 41 & 7th St in Lyford.

Police say that they found a car driven by 36-year-old Nicholas Martin of Hillsboro about 100 feet off the road and into a wooded area on the north side of the Lyford “S” Curves.

Police say that Martin failed field sobriety and chemical testing.

He was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a BAC greater than .15%.
