Sandra “Sandy” Jean Swearingen, 56, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her home in Brazil. She was born on April 23, 1964 in Neubrucke, Germany to the late Robert and Martha (Weesner) Weinrich. Sandy graduated from Warrenton High School in Missouri, and married Ernie Swearingen on August 20, 1988. She worked at Pizza Hut in Brazil for over 20 years.

Sandy loved her work, and spending time with friends and family. In her free time she enjoyed having a few beers, chatting on the phone, collecting ceramic pigs, and harassing her family especially the men and her regulars at Pizza Hut.

Son:        Jason (Heather Crowder) Swearingen, Mansfield, Indiana

Brother:    Robert (Hannah) Weinrich, Miami, Oklahoma

Nephew:    Robbie Weinrich, Terre Haute, Indiana

Nieces:    Jennifer (Aaron) Wilson, Deer Creek, Indiana

Grandson:    Aiden Swearingen

In an effort to protect our community, a drive through visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil from 3:00-6:00 P.M. A private funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. with burial to be held at Bee Ridge Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
