Victor “Vic” R. McQueary, 85, of Clay City, Indiana passed away on June 12, 2020 at Greene County Hospital.

Vic was born on August 12, 1934, the son of Harvey and Lucille (Horton) McQueary. Vic worked at A and C Ready Mix and Custom Farm Service. For the last several years of his career he had worked for Grower’s Co-op.

Vic was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Vic enjoyed his daily visits with the Plaza Coffee Drinkers, watching his grandchildren’s activities, gardening, and woodworking.

Vic is survived by his daughter Kathy Ault and husband David; son Keith “Termite” McQueary (Sara); grandchildren: Chad Rendant and Kara Rendant; step-grandchildren: Cody Ault, Cara Ault, and Kohen Ault.

Vic was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Lucille McQueary, wife of 55 years Anita (Jones) McQueary, and a brother Robert McQueary.

Visitation will be at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 East Eighth Street, Clay City, Indiana 47841, on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
