Larry A. Burk, III, 27 of Hernando, Florida died unexpectedly October 6, 2020 while visiting friends in Brownsburg, IN. He was born July 22, 1993 in Clay County, the son of Larry Burk, Jr., and Angie Gorrell Burk. The family moved to the Hernando area of Florida in 2000. He worked in the family business maintaining rental properties. He remained close to his family in the Brazil area and was always willing to help when needed.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Larry Burk, Jr. in 2017 and his grandmother, Alice Burk in 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Angie Burk of Hernando, FL; fiancé Augustina Brockman; daughters, Sunny Burk and Naleah Burk; grandparents, Larry Burk, Sr., Robbie and Ron Grubb and Jim and Linda Gorrell; three sisters, Sheree’ Hanley (Tyler Jordan), Sierra Burk and Sabrina Burk all of Florida; Uncles Jimmy Gorrell (Misty), Bill Burk (Daniella), Aunts, Kimberly Powell (Brad), and Christy Marshall (Jammie); one niece Marissa Hanley; nephews Tyler Jordan,Jr. Eli Jordan, Corbin Underhill and Larry Stratton; cousins, Bradlee, Allison, Jay, Kayla, Patty, Brad, Bronson, Payton, Bryce and Grayce; other close friends and extended family.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 2:00pm at French Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-2. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be directed to his daughters. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
