Donald E. Wilson, 81, of Cory, IN passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Cloverleaf Health Care in Brazil. He was born on July 14, 1939 in Carbon, IN to Jacob Woodrow Wilson and Kathryn (Harris) Wilson.

Donald graduated from Van Buren High School in 1958. He retired in Terre Haute from J.I. Case. In Brazil he was employed with American Vitrified Clay plant and as a custodian with Clay Community Schools. Donald was a history buff and enjoyed reading and watching events about the World Wars. He enjoyed working on his cars and motorcycles. Donald had a great sense of humor and loved being with his family.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Kathryn Wilson; and a daughter, Rachel Drake.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Froderman and husband, J.D.; sons, John J. Wilson and wife, Leann and John E. Wilson and wife, Lori; grandchildren, Danielle, Joey, Nick, Brice, Brad, Crimson, Aziya, Jonathon, Sam, Garrett, Derrick and Michael; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Terry Wilson and wife, Joy and Gary Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

No visitation or services are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Donald’s care givers and especially, Brittany Miller.
