John Arnett Meister II, 52, of Bowling Green, Indiana, unexpectedly, on November 28, 2020.

John was born on August 21, 1968, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of John A. Meister Sr. and Barbara J. (Fitch) Meister. John graduated from Fairborn High School in Fairborn, Ohio. Following high school, he attended Urbana University and then Wittenberg University, in Ohio, where he received two bachelors’ in education and a masters in gifted education. He worked as a teacher at Preble Shawnee High School in Camden, Ohio where he taught special education. After retiring as a teacher, he worked for Tyler Technology CLT Division as a residential commercial Tax Assessor where he was loved and respected within his company.

John loved watching Sci – Fi movies and watching Star Trek. He married Karen Morris on April 9, 2009. She often referred to him as her “Jimmy Stewart” as he was such a kind and loving man. John and Karen had a passion for adopting injured and abandoned animals.

John is survived by his parents: John and Barbara Meister; his wife Karen Meister; his children: Devin A. Meister, Kailyn Meister, and Iain C. Meister.

Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home, in Brazil.
