
Bob Lowdermilk, 78 of Terre Haute and Rockville, passed away December 7, 2020 from Alzheimer ’s disease and complications related to Covid. He was born on December 1st, 1942. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna Jean. He is also survived by his daughter, Shelly Beasley; two grandsons, Billy and Ben Beasley of Colorado and a sister, Rosemary Gilmore of Ocala, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ruth; five brothers: Forrest, Clyde, Dale, Jessie and Wayne; two sisters, Vianna Brown and Jean Tartaglia; and his son-in-law, Andy Beasley.
Bob worked as a mechanic for Shanks Motors, Jacobs Chevrolet, Gatti Excavating, General Telephone, and Industrial Contracting & Erecting. He built two homes, the first one at age 25 and his dream home in Parke County in 2001.
He will be remembered as a kind, generous, hard-working person. He was a wonderful husband, father and “Poppy”. His family and friends will always cherish the many memories of Bob. We thank God for Bob’s life and we say, “Well done Bob, well done.”
