R. Jeanette West, 79, of Clay City, Indiana passed away at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, on December 11, 2020.

Jeanette was born on February 6, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee the daughter of Owen Louis Daniel Sr. and Lorene (Thornton) Daniel. She attended Wiley High School for much of her high school career but graduated from Hillsboro High School after her family moved back to the Nashville, Tennessee area. Jeanette also attended college at Indiana State University. She married Bryce West in 1967 in the Taylor Memorial Prayer Chapel in Farmersburg, Indiana. She worked for Donelley’s and the Hamilton Center. Then she worked for Indiana University Health as a computer analyst for several years retiring in 2006.

Jeanette enjoyed quilting, reading, fishing, cooking, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parentes Owen Louis Daniel Sr. and Lorene Daniel, her husband Bryce West, and a brother Owen Louis Daniel Jr..

She is survived by her twin sister H. Annette Garrison of Florida and a sister-in-law Judith Daniel Simpson of Terre Haute; nieces and nephews: Robert Garrison and wife Beth, Edward Garrison, Brenda Schmid and husband Michael, Donald Daniel and wife Mindy, Steven Daniel and wife Teresa, Karla Eller and husband Jeff, and David West as well as many extended family members.

Private graveside services will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
