Donald Ray Lucas, 91, of Brazil, Indiana passed away at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, on December 15, 2020.

Don was born in Sullivan County, Indiana on January 13, 1929 the son of Rollie and Gladys (Bedwell) Lucas. Don graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1947. Don served his country, in England, in the United States Air Force. He married Joetta Spelbring in 1950 and worked as an Industrial Arts teacher in the Indianapolis Public School System for many years.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Rollie and Gladys (Bedwell) Lucas; his wife Joetta Lucas; a daughter Donita Joan Lucas; his father and mother-in-law Ray E. and Nina Spelbring; a sister Susan Lucas.

Survivors include his daughter Nona Jill Pittman and husband Anthony of Brazil; 3 grandchildren: Jason Andrew Milner and wife Brittany of Poland, Lucas Swede Pittman and wife Kendra of Brazil, and Porsha Jill Pittman and fiancé J.C. Sutherlin of Brazil; great-grandson: Brodie Lawson; great-granddaughter: Nona Beth Pittman; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Private graveside services will be at Clearview Cemetery.
