Barbara Jean Hammond Bracken, 36, of Paris, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

She was born August 6, 1984 in Terre Haute to David Hammond and Barbara Stevens.

Barbara worked in the healthcare field as a CNA.

She was preceded in death by her Grandpa Salt, Grandpa Stevens, Grandpa and Grandma Hammond, and her father-in-law, Emery Bracken, Sr.

Barbara is survived by her parents; her husband, Donald Bracken, Sr., mother-in-law, Madonna Bracken; her children, Dalton, Breanna, Emery and Raven Bracken; stepchildren, Allisha (Jasiman), Mercadies, Donald Jr, Gregory (Elaine), Bruce, and Charlee Bracken; brother, Michael Hammond (Ashley); sister, Beth Johnson (Ikie); her beloved grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aaliyah, Donald, Aubree, Waylon, Dominic, and Preston. She is also survived by long time family friend, Brent Donley; as well as, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
